"Then it's agreed. Thank you for your cooperation, master Jedi, it's very much appreciated." Senator Marcus nodded curtly, but his close-set eyes gleamed with the good humor of having gotten his way. "If you reach the Grandmaster, be sure to give her my regards."
He turned again to the Commission and Bijou, hands wide. "Well, gentlemen, I trust that until we receive further information that there is no need to inform the Senate of any official details?"
They agreed all together, Bijou eagerly, the Kaminoan somewhat primly, that there was not.
"Then I suggest we adjourn this meeting until my Secretary's return. I'll be sure to notify you of the date."

As soon as it would have been polite to, Bijou left the podium. He face was hotter than it had been all day, even when with that criminal earlier, and she prayed that it wasn't showing. She felt like running to the Jedi and thanking him wildly for the chance. That, however, was not possible; they were still in the Senate building, and decorum was the rule of thumb here. Instead, she paced over to where he was sitting.
"I'll escort you out, Master Jedi." She noticed Laren, still in his seat and looking quite nonplussed, and suddenly couldn't resist taking one more parting shot. "I'm sorry you had to sit all the way out here. I trust you weren't too bored?"
