In the blankness of space, an old Imperial Cargo Ship exited hyperspace. The pilot, a 27 year old human female checked the readout, trying to discover where this ship had taken them. Turning on the intercom, she sent a message to the passengers in the back of the ship. “It looks like we’re somewhere in the Mid Rim. I guess Mr. Pet had business here.”

Ajog arrived at the cockpit. His mouth and arms full of food. "Mid Rim...Never been here before, actually never left Hutt space. So what now?" Ajog spoke with his mouth full. He never cared much for manners and he had lost so much weight he could care less what someone thought of him for his lack of manners. Ajog moved closer as he looked at the blanket of stars in the open space. His hutt body, emanating a peculiar stench moved closer to where Kirith stood.

Kirith scrunched her nose slightly, finally noticing the distinct odor of hutt, but did her best to hide it. “Now I’ll just reprogram the navicomputer to take us to Nal Hutta. Luckily we aren’t that far away from Hutt Space, so it shouldn’t take too long to get there. A few standard hours maybe.”

"Good. I can't wait to get business up and running again. I wonder how much of my business I will find still standing. I had someone helping me, but I doubt he could keep the others from taking advantage of my absence." Ajog spoke to himself. Noticing that he was talking out loud he moved his attention the Kirith. "Well, it will be a relief to be back home fighting for contracts and goods, instead of a cage inside a ship."

Kirith glances over at Ajog, wondering what he was talking about, but shrugged. “Fighting for contracts and goods is always preferable to cages,” she said diplomatically as she continued to program the coordinates into the navicomputer. She was just thankful that the clawdite hadn’t locked the navicomputer to only be accessible to him. She really didn’t feel like dealing with annoying security features on top of everything that had happened lately.

Soon she had successfully primed the hard drive. “Prepare for the jump to hyperspace,” she said to Ajog before the stars out the window faded into the white vortex of hyperspace.

Ajog braced himself as the ship left the black cloth of space filled with white specks became a white vortex that seemed to pull them in.
